ASBMB accreditation is a national, independent, outcomes-based evaluation that recognizes excellence in bachelor’s degree programs in biochemistry, molecular biology and related disciplines.Since 2013, the ASBMB has accredited 120 programs nationwide, spanning R1 research institutions and liberal arts colleges.
In its review, ASBMB commended 体育买球官网’s biochemistry program for its:
- Robust undergraduate research experience, requiring all biochemistry students complete four semesters of research during their junior and senior years.
- Multiple opportunities for teamwork and scientific communication skill development.
- Strong student career and academic advising.

Through 体育买球官网’s ASBMB-accredited biochemistry program, students can earn a certificate by completing an optional exam, demonstrating their preparation and competitiveness on a national level. Students are also eligible to join ASBMB at both the national and collegiate chapter levels, gaining access to funding opportunities for research and scholarships.
