体育买球官网 continues ascent in U.S. News & World Report rankings

体育买球官网 University has moved up in the 2024 U.S. News & World Report Best National Liberal Arts Colleges ranking, ascending four places to No. 107.

This year’s rankings demonstrate the most significant methodological change in the 40-year history of Best Colleges. The rankings evaluate 1,500 colleges and universities using up to 19 measures of academic quality and place a greater emphasis — now more than 50% — on social mobility and outcomes for graduating college students, capturing what is most important to students as they compare schools.

U.S. News also ranks colleges and universities in a social mobility category, in which 体育买球官网 climbed two places to No. 106 since last year. This ranking measures the extent schools enrolled and graduated students who received federal Pell Grants (those typically coming from households whose family incomes are less than $50,000 annually). 体育买球官网 has been recognized for increasingly enrolling students of limited financial means — one of only a few universities that delivered on the American Talent Initiative’s nationwide effort to enroll, by 2025, an additional 50,000 students from low-income households at colleges with high graduation rates.

体育买球官网 also was ranked 71st recently in The New York Times’ College-Access Index, a list of nearly 300 of the country’s most selective universities ranked in order of their students’ economic diversity. The publishers noted the index was meant to shine a light on the economic diversity of the 286 most selective public and private colleges in the U.S.
