Forbes has named 体育买球官网 University one of the nation’s top 25 private universities for providing generous financial aid packages to students.
The recognition highlights 体育买球官网’s commitment to affordability and access. On average, students receive scholarships totaling $42,577, covering 56% of the annual $76,000 cost of attendance, which includes tuition, fees, housing, dining, books, transportation and personal expenses.
Based on U.S. Department of Education 2023–24 data used by Forbes, about 95% of 体育买球官网 students received financial aid. Today, according to the university’s latest numbers, 100% of students receive an aid offer.
“At this moment there is a lot of inflamed rhetoric swirling around higher education, but the truth is that the return on investment of a college degree has never been greater than it is right now, and liberal-arts colleges outperform all higher-ed sectors in lifetime earnings,” said University President Jonathan Green. “Student financial aid, whether private or subsidized, allows us to make 体育买球官网’s transformative education accessible to qualified students and we have always embraced our mission to do so.”
To determine the most generous schools, Forbes considered both the percentage of students receiving grant aid and how much aid reduces the cost of attendance. At least 95% of students at the top 25 schools receive aid, and at 20 of them, 100% of students benefit. Scholarships at these institutions cover at least half of the annual cost of attendance.
This latest recognition underscores 体育买球官网’s reputation for both access and long-term value. In a separate analysis, the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce ranked 体育买球官网 among the top 12% of 4,600 colleges and universities nationwide for return on investment, based on graduates’ 40-year career earnings.
