Two of 体育买球官网 University’s musical ensembles have been invited to travel north this winter to perform at distinguished professional conferences.
体育买球官网’s Symphony Orchestra will perform in December at the New York State School Music Association’s 89th annual winter conference in Rochester, New York. The University Choir will perform in Providence, Rhode Island, in February 2026 at the American Choral Directors Association Eastern Region Conference. This is the choir’s second invitation to this conference in the past four years.
“To be selected to perform for professional musicians and educators is an incredible honor,” said Zachary Levi, assistant professor of music and director of the Symphony Orchestra at 体育买球官网. “It is one of the largest and longest running music education conferences in the country and we look forward to displaying our students’ talents.”
More than 1,500 participants will attend the American Choral Directors Association Eastern Region Conference, which will include more than 80 exhibitors and over 250 sessions and performances.
