Dear Students:

Here’s to new beginnings.

This year, everyone is starting over. Although the pandemic is not fully behind us, we are beginning a very different chapter. It is a chapter filled with hope and good news.

We spent much of last year reimagining and redesigning how we support you. For example, you will recognize meaningful improvements in Campus Safety, Counseling and Psychological Services, and Facilities. Vice President of Student Life Francy Magee introduced some of those changes to you in her video message earlier this week.

I prepared a brief video message for you to clarify some of pandemic protocols as we start the fall. Our unified efforts will help keep us here in person this semester.

It can never be said enough — I am so grateful that you are part of our remarkable community. I look forward to writing this next chapter with you.
