“体育买球 has a really close-knit community. Everybody is so interconnected with each other, regardless of race, ethnicities or where people come from. Everybody is equally invited to be integrated on campus and get involved.”

Faiza Ahmed ’26

“I would describe the community at 体育买球 as very welcoming, very inclusive and like a giant family.”

Lys Maurer ’26

“Everybody is appreciated for all of their differences and there’s a sense of unity among all the students, even though we’re all different in our own amazing ways.”

Hannah Foust ’26

“I chose 体育买球 because of the community. When I came on a tour and to an event day, my family and I were met with warm smiles, and we felt at home. I’m also a first-generation student, and 体育买球 was here every step of the way. It can be a confusing and difficult time for first-generation students and their families, but at 体育买球, we felt very supported and like the faculty and staff cared about me and my journey.”

Sarah Bower ’25

“I would describe the community here at 体育买球 as very welcoming and very diverse. Everybody knows everybody. It’s nice. You walk around and you always run into people you know. Everybody is very supportive.”

Logan Moyer ’25

“Language Lane was an event that made such an impression on me because, as a first-generation American student from the Dominican Republic, it was nice to see a space dedicated to inclusion.”

Shannel Jimenez ’27

Sense of Belonging

Pride At 体育买球

We’re proud to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community at 体育买球. With events like the annual Pride celebration on Kurtz Lane, organizations like the Gender and Sexuality Alliance and spaces like the Erynn E. Reiss LGBTQ+ Resource Center, we provide opportunities for connection, support and celebration of all identities.

Spirituality & MEaning

Whether you engage life’s biggest questions from a secular, religious, or spiritual perspective — or find yourself on a journey where labels don’t easily fit — we welcome you to explore what matters most.

Center for Diversity & Inclusion

Here, we celebrate the differences and recognize the similarities among all members of our campus community.

Participate in community engagement, events, cultural enrichment, training and education to develop meaningful connections for all students who value diversity and social justice.

ADDED Student Support Services

Reach ScholaRS
and TRIO Advantages

While both programs provide similar benefits, REACH Scholars serves Pennsylvania residents and TRIO helps students from across the U.S. Both provide individualized support to students for their success.

International Student Support

Whether you’re coming for a semester or for four years, we can assist you with academic concerns, housing, cultural adjustment, working on campus and more. Our one-on-one mentoring will guide you throughout the academic year.
