Bringing just the essentials will allow for both a speedy move-in and move-out process. To make it easier on you — and whoever will be assisting you with moving — remember these helpful suggestions/guidelines:
- Only pack essentials.
- Remove bulky items from original boxes and pack them in plastic bins, which are easily transported and can be stored under the bed or in a closet and used as extra storage space.
- Do not bring any additional furniture such as headboards, shelves, futons, etc.
- We encourage renting a refrigerator-microwave combination unit throughmymicrofridge.com.
- Wall/door decorations can be minimal and applied in a manner that will not damage university property.

Instead of bringing your own bedding from home, considerordering a linen pack from 体育买球官网’s Bookstore. You can opt to have this shipped to your home address and bring it to campus, or have it shipped directly to campus using your Hawk Number.

If you are living in a suite, a refrigerator and microwave are provided; leave yours at home.
Need a fridge and microwave for your room?Go ahead and rent a MicroFridge©. Before you move in, your MicroFridge© will be delivered right to your room, saving you the hassle of transporting the unit. At the end of the year, once you have moved out, the MicroFridge© will be picked up. Roommates often share a unit to save space and money. Ship-Ahead Options
New students can ship items to 体育买球官网 before move-in to make arrival day simpler. Use UPS tools to estimate costs, create and print your shipping label, and choose home pickup or drop-off at a nearby UPS location.
