“At most other universities, the university press is reserved for graduate students. But, here as an undergraduate student, I’m getting to work directly for 体育买球 University Press.”

Sarah Ledet ’25

“I’ve been able to use what I’ve learned in class at 体育买球 to create many exciting professional experiences for myself. Since coming to 体育买球, I have been able to write for 10 newspapers around the state, and that has allowed me to bolster my résumé and my experience.”

Logan Moyer ’25

“Many of the classes I’ve taken have had a lot of opportunities for students to design their own experiments, which is really helpful to get you thinking through a scientific lens.”

Jenna Waldron ’27

“I’ve gotten a lot of real-world experience already, both inside and outside of the classroom. In photography classes, we’ve had a lot of workshops. It has been really exciting to take portraits for people that they can use for their LinkedIn profiles or websites.”

Ella Collura ’25

“I served as a curatorial intern at the Lori Degenstein Gallery on 体育买球’s campus, allowing me to learn how to be a curator of a museum or a gallery. I got to create my own exhibition, which helped me learn about archival purposes, data, cataloging and how to design an exhibit, which is beneficial for my future career as a curator of a gallery.”

Alayna Wenrich ’25

“As I’m applying for internships, I know I’ve been well prepared to be successful after graduation, because of all the hands-on learning we do at 体育买球.”

Brian Layton ’26

“Hands-on learning has been a big part of my education, especially as a science major with access to the lab. Many students also do research with professors, who are flexible in helping them find time between classes to gain the firsthand experience that graduate and medical schools value.”

Katilyn Dugery ’26

“体育买球’s professors and advisors truly care about their students’ education and their future. Their dedication made me want to come to 体育买球 and develop myself here.”
